Yeah they're playing in long island about 40 miles from me on Halloween. I'm gonna go. It'll be a long set with more good songs. Did you watch the foreigner dvd yet? I watched some of it. It was pretty awesome. I l ike the backstage feature where they talk to the band members and how they got into the band and all

awesome

well this should be in the concert thread but oh well, who gives a sh*t, lol, we're the only 2 posters here- Devin Townsend is coming in January, with Between the Buried & Me and Cynic... Devin Townsend is the frontman of Strapping Young Lad, dunno how much you've heard of them, but personally I like Devin Townsend's solo stuff much better, more of a prog-metal sound as opposed to SYL's more industrial-like sound... and I like Cynic too so i think i might consider this show...

i actually think i might go to Epica instead, they are at the Troc on Wednesday January 27th... Epica is a female-fronted goth metal band, i only am familiar with them because their singer sings with Kamelot on a lot of their songs.. even though ive said ive grown out of the whole goth metal thing, im starting to like Epica now, the openers are Threat Signal and Blackguard, i think ive heard some of Threat Signal, never heard of Blackguard.. either way, i think im gonna get a ticket to this one, and if it snows then oh well, i can miss it... i think ill skip the devin townsend one since sunday 1/31 might be the super bowl which i cant miss, haha, even if the eagles arent in it i still watch for the commercials, even though they've been weak the past few years.. buut i digress, lol... feel free to look up Epica if you want, they may-may not be your kinda thing but you're free to listen to em...
